My name is Serina Lyn, and I am an experienced integrative, trauma-informed counsellor offering online and telephone therapy across the UK. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work with adults, children, and young people experiencing a range of emotional and mental health difficulties. I have a particular specialism in supporting those who have experienced trauma.

I believe therapy can be a deeply empowering experience. Trauma and life challenges can affect how we see ourselves, how we relate to others, and how we cope with difficult emotions. In therapy, we work together to help you process experiences, understand patterns, and develop the tools needed to move forward with greater confidence and self-awareness.

I offer a safe, supportive, and confidential space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. My integrative approach allows me to tailor therapy to your individual needs, drawing on different therapeutic models such as CBT to help identify unhelpful thinking patterns, alongside deeper relational and psychodynamic work to understand where those patterns may have developed.

I understand that taking the first step into therapy can feel daunting. From both professional and personal experience, I know that while the process can be challenging, it can also be life-changing. My role is to support you in making sense of your experiences, building resilience, and developing a more compassionate understanding of yourself.

At different points in life, many of us feel overwhelmed, stuck, or alone. Therapy offers a space where you do not have to carry that alone. My aim is to work alongside you to deepen your understanding of your thoughts, feelings, and relationships so that you can move towards a more authentic, balanced, and fulfilling life.

My mission is to provide a professional and supportive therapeutic relationship that helps you move forward with greater clarity, strength, and hope.
